Hope Lodge historic site in Fort Washington, PA is hosting its annual Revolutionary War Encampment on Saturday, November 2nd and Sunday, November 3rd, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. The encampment commemorates the Continental army's last major stop in November and December before heading to Valley Forge in 1777. It also recreates parts of the Battle of White Marsh in December. Volunteers are needed at admissions, parking, safety, the mansion, bake table, and much more.The event includes Revolutionary War skirmishes, re-enactors, colonial merchants, and demonstrations.
